Waiting of Tornado

Yesterday afternoon the building where I work got a tornado warning so, we were suppose all report to one of the designated tornado shelter areas (stairwells, bathrooms, conference rooms, etc). By the time we decide to go (several people I work with our from the midwest, where warnings are not taken serious) the tornado shelter areas were crowded. So, we went back and waited by the window (right by a stairwell). We felt we would be okay because the KP geese didn't seek shelter. Sarah had a camera, so this is what it looked like from our window. As Griz would say "our view was a 360."

  1. I am glad that you were safe. It looks like you were having a good time hanging out in the stair well. When we have tornado drills, the kids all line the halls and crouch down with their heads on their knees like the yoga "child's position." It is pretty uncomfortable for them. All us teachers risk our lives by walking up and down the rows of children making sure they keep their heads down:)
